John MCallum was found dead at a city model lodging house on 17 December 1958.
He was found dead in the basement of the lodging house in Craignestock Street in Bridgton.
He had blood on his face and the CID were called in.
Earlier on 16 December 1958 another man was found dying on the first floor of the lodging house who died soon after being found. It was not known whether the two deaths were connected.
